Draper, Herbert James Biography

Herbert James Draper was an English Classicist painter whose career began in the Victorian era and extended through the first two decades of the 20th century. He has been described as one of the best and least recognised classical painters. The focus of his paintings was ancient Greece and all the mythological scenes that came with it.
